Meaití is from Indreabháin, Connemara. He is a Sean Nós singer and lilter in this show but is also well known for his magnificent playing on the Uilleann pipes and flute. He has won the Prestigeous Corn Uí Riada for his singing (2001). He presents a music show three times a week on national station, Radio na Gaeltachta. Meaití has travelled the world with his music.. |
